Artlet reps battle it out in AB Glaucup 2024

The annual faculty-wide quiz bee, AB Glaucup 2024: Battle of the Intellect, returned onsite at the Tan Yan Kee Building last Feb. 20, 2024. 

Seven programs of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, namely Asian Studies, Creative Writing, Economics, English Language Studies, History, Literature, and Philosophy, send their representatives to the quiz bee competition.

The different teams were challenged with questions mainly revolving around five categories, including History & Literature, Science & Mathematics, Pop Culture & General Knowledge, the University of Santo Tomas, Current Events & National Issues. 

During the preliminary round, the top five teams, led by Economics, along with Asian Studies, Philosophy, Literature, and History, advanced to the finals. 

Three teams were declared winners in the final round, with Literature securing the championship, followed by Philosophy and Economics, respectively. 

The AB Glaucup 2024 was organized by the Artlets Student Council in line with the celebration of AB Month.
