The Asian Studies Elections Committee has officially released the physical voters' ballot for the upcoming ASSOC Halalan 2025 as an initiative to strengthen and ensure maximum student engagement. This marks the return of on-site voting, an approach intended to foster deeper student involvement in the elections.
According to Mx. Gabriel Gabrillo, Chairperson of the ASSOC Elections Committee, the decision to return to the on-site voting was made to encourage student participation and involvement in the electoral process.
In line with the elections, the Mandatory Debate and Miting de Avance are set to take place on April 28, 2025. During this event, candidates are expected to present their platforms and engage in meaningful discourse, giving the Asian Studies community the opportunity to critically evaluate their choices and broaden their understanding of the aspirants' plans and visions.
The on-site voting period will follow shortly after, running from April 30 to May 2, 2025. The proclamation of candidates is scheduled for May 5, 2025, when the election results will be officially announced.
